We had the Cuban cigars appetizer - wonton wrapped pork and collards with a chili spice sauce. Fantastic. Empanadas are great and Brussel sprouts were so flaky they were like chips or something. We will go back!!! ”

“ Well, the food was amazing. There wasn't a single thing that we had that was not 'the best I've ever had'. The queso dip, the chicken cigars, the Cuban sandwich... all five stars, No Doubt. I've had Cuban sandwiches from legitimate Cuban families in Tampa, Florida that weren't as good as their Cuban sandwich. I don't have even the slightest critique for the food. Now, let's talk about the service. The hostess was very friendly, and everybody seemed to move with a sense of urgency (which is hard to find anymore, really). But our waiter took urgency to the next level (and beyond). We were midway through eating our appetizer when he asked to take our plates away. I was midway through eating my meal, with an empty cup, when he showed up and asked me if I wanted to-go drink. I never actually got a refill and my to-go drink was gone before I left. I was still eating, again, when he came to offer dessert or the check. My friend ordered a small plate and said that she might want more food if she is still hungry. She wasn't even midway through that when he asked her if she wanted any other food. In short, everything this guy did was to rush us out the door. We were in and out in under 30 minutes during the dinner rush on a Friday night. Great if you want to hurry up and eat and get out of there. But if you want to sit down, relax, and enjoy a nice dinner, it totally throws off the vibe. I will absolutely go back because the food is second to none. But I will specifically request a different waiter on any return trip. ”

“ What a way to unwind during the week. This place is so charming. The decor and an inviting patio. Our group decided to sit outside. They have plenty of fans and seating options it felt like I was in a friend's backyard. Service Ethan he was exceptional. So attentive and personable, courteous . He was polite and patient. Great service he made the experience memorable Drinks Blackberry marga-jito mint lime tequila orange liqueur blackberries 7/10 it was very beautiful but had an after taste Yollah margarita 6/10 Food Lamb chops 12/10 cooked to perfection with a delicious chimichurri Yuca fries 10/10 Chicken skewers 9/10 Calamari 6/10 Cookie skillet 10/10 ”

“ Stopped into Yollah for dinner and it was a pretty good experience. Here's a breakdown with everything you need to know: Service - The wife and I came in on a Friday night around 6:30, no reservation but we were able to get a table quickly. We were also greeted by the owner and our waiter was extremely attentive, he was patient with us when we didn't know what to order and even made suggestions when needed. Ambiance - Lay out of the restaurant was nice. Definitely gives me a south beach feel. A lot of space both inside and out and I think it may even have a separate room for private dining groups (may have to call and check). We came during a rainy day so we didn't get to experience the patio area much, but during the spring x summer time, this would be a perfect place to come for a brunch, date night, or just quick lunch. Food - Since we didn't know what to order we just got a little bit of everything: -chicken empanadas: pretty good! Crispy empanadas and the toppings really bring out the flavor of the dish. -fish tacos: tacos were good but the fish tasted much fresher than I liked. Would have liked it a bit more fried but still good. Decent side as well. Could get full off 2/3 with a side. -pork tacos: these tacos were good, pork was cooked well and the toppings truly brought out the flavor in the dish. Decent side as well. Could get full off 2/3 with a side. -Cigar box: loved everything about this! Comes with 4 egg roll pieces and a side of sauce in a cigar box. It tastes amazing and can be ordered as a meal if you like. Definitely try it if you don't mind pork. -Rick Balls: our waiter suggested this and we didn't know what to expect at first but they were really good! The rice was well cooked and the cheese inside gave it a good kick of flavor. Would recommend starting with 4 since they are so big. - Chicken Skewers: the chicken was cooked to perfection on the grill and the skewers were jammed pack with pieces of chicken. The portion size of this dish was great and would certainly recommend this if you want to get full. - Tres Leches cake: We took this to go because we were stuff and wanted to try it later. Tried it later this evening and the cake was delicious! It was very moist and the strawberry and cream paired perfectly with the sponge cake. To avoid it getting soggy I would recommend eating it asap or when it's cold. Our meal overall came to about $75 for two people, which isn't back since we all pretty much had 3 courses. If you're looking for somewhere good and welcoming to eat in Macon, this is your spot! ”

“ Came here for my first sit down dinner with the ladies from work for our book club! We tried the chips and dip, amazing yucca fries. I had the Cuban cigars... and yummy beef tacos! Our server was amazing! He was the best! To put up with some fun ladies! We moved us from the outside to inside due to rain. The outdoor space is so adorable. And we just loved the interior I tired the Yollah margarita and then the regular margarita. The Yollah margarita was good but a little too sweet for me. The owner is amazing too! Super friendly I got to go meals for my fiancé he preferred the beef empanadas over the chorizo. And and more Cuban cigars... combine collard greens to an egg roll Cuban take oh yeah! I'll have another order, thank you! And I got my yucca fries and those delicious plantains for the next day! Can't wait to try the beef empanadas on my next visit! ”

“ I visited Macon and stumbled on this place for brunch. Once this past summer (felt I thought I was being stared at) THIS time it was pleasant! Sat at the bar and the lady behind the bar was giving all the vibes we were looking for! Friendly, small talk and recommendations. Food was great. Chicken taco was phenomenal and the tres leches cinnamon roll was the icing on the cake.....outer crust/ring was harder than the rest. Again the lovely lady behind the bar MADE OUR MORNING . ”

“ Yollah has been on our list of places to try, but we just haven't been in Macon much lately. We stopped in for Sunday brunch at about 11:45, 15 minutes after they opened. There wasn't a parking space available and every table was full. I knew they had just opened and would need to wait until someone finished eating to be seated, but probably only waited another 15-20 minutes. There is a small seating area to wait inside as well as seating out front (although it was too cold for anyone to sit out front today.) The restaurant is cute with a trendy, but not overly busy decor. It's bigger than it looks, and can get a bit loud. (Nothing out of hand, but I did have trouble hearing our server at times.) There brunch menu has a great variety. We decided to try the Bionacos, Breakfast Skillet, Yollah Shrimp, Patatas Bravas and French Toast. Everything was delicious, a good mix of sweet and savory. I think I was most surprised (in a good way) at just how good the Bionacos was. It was light and delicious! Service was fast and efficient. The atmosphere was a bit upscale yet still relaxed. We will definitely be back to try dinner soon. ”

“ First time trying Yollah's and overall I enjoyed my visit. The parking lot is unpaved and full of dirt and gravel, so the walk in is rough depending on your shoes. Hosts greeted us warmly when we walked in and were immediately seated. We were told they do not do reservations here, so I was glad to find a seat quickly. Our waiter was Dalton who was pleasant and provided good customer service. We ordered a mimosa, peach bellini, small shrimp and grits, cuban sandwich and the little fried dough balls for sweets. Shrimp and grits were my fave hands down! Good creamy grits, fat juicy grilled shrimp and good cheese all tasted so wonderful. The cuban sandwich was ok, but I probably would not order again. It was just ok and the yellow rice that accompanied the dish was bland and very soft. I do not recommend the rice. I would love to come back and try their dinner menu. ”
